Little pieces!

I love working with little pieces, making little blocks. I've been playing with little pieces tonight, working on Lisa Bongean's Scrap Basket blocks. I just love them, and I may end up making them all or maybe only three or four, but they're too cute not to make some of them. They finish at six inches. Can't wait to have a couple done to share here!

  2. I so love the look of quilts made with little pieces but I am not very fond of working with them. I can see where you would have acquired that liking with your first quilt being Grandma's Flower Garden.. Looking forward to seeing your finished project...

  4. There are lots of reasons to work on these blocks. Fun--- Being Number one. But also You can use it as practice for color coordination ( I need so much practice at that) and Practice in small pattern piecing with no great expense involved. Sometimes I am just plain scared cutting up beautiful expensive fabric. This way, you can get some confidence under your belt.
